Who knew that President Washington was the founding father of social distance? If good manners are lacking anywhere, and they are, they are definitely lacking regarding personal space. Whether people are too close, too loud, too smelly, or too scantily clad, many just do not seem to know how to act in public. It is epidemic.
To that end, I have interpreted the very astute rules the juvenile Washington penned a couple of centuries ago into more modern language. This rule pretty much speaks for itself and also informs us how to speak! Good behavior is always in fashion!
