To be "prodigal" is to be wasteful. That is how I feel about our country right now. We are wasting the legacy of faith, family, and freedom that has been entrusted to us by patriots who died to secure it.
My church is studying the Psalms right now and Psalm 29 really spoke to me. It is a Psalm of David in which he relates how God rules over everything he sees. It inspired this poem and I pray it is a blessing to all who read or hear it.
